Dr. Jay Jeffers opened up a counseling center here
at Sparks First Church of the Nazarene in October, 2006.

 Dr. Jeffers is a professional Christian counselor,
having received his B.S. from Warner Pacific College,
Portland, OR, his Master’s in Psychology from
Pacific Western University in Los Angeles, CA,  and his
Ph.D. from Bethany Theological Seminary in Dothan, AL.

Dr. Jeffers has been involved with Vista Christian
Counseling for more than 20 years, and has made
a personal commitment to Jesus Christ to provide
each person who seeks help and assistance
with the best in Christian care.

Dr. Jeffers is board certified and licensed by the
National Christian Counselors’ Association, and a
charter member of the American Association
of Christian Counselors.  He is a member of
The American Academy of Experts in Traumatic Stress,
as well as a member of the Christian Association
of Psychological Studies.  He adds a significant
dimension to our ministerial team.
