To say that our nation is different than the one that was founded some 226 years ago is an understatement.
The Dick and Jane world of the 50’s has been swept away by a Tsunami of change.
We can:
Deny it –
Bail out!
Hoist the sail and catch God’s wave .
God has called us to be in the world not of it… To be saving agents of the lost…
… not finger pointers of the sinful.
The “Status Quo,” according to Ronald Reagan, is Latin for:
The mess we’re in.

Isaiah’s sermons:
2:22; 4:4; 5:24; 10:1; 11:3; 29:13; 29:15

Like Isaiah we need something to take away our guilt:
“…your guilt is taken away and your sin atoned for.”
Why fire to his lips?
I believe the greatest sins of God’s people center around the words we say: lies, gossip, hypocrisy, foul language, hurtful words
Isaiah had to let the angel touch his mouth … will you?
