We don't clean out the fridge for company!

But…  We say to God: "I wish I could do more!"

Stewardship takes a Leap of Faith

Matthew 6:24-34

The passage is a challenge to those who worry!

We stress, NOT because we don’t have enough, but because we’re still thinking like owners instead of managers!

Jesus says, “I’ll take care of it…”   He doesn’t say you don’t need it;

Matt 6:32 He says: “I know you need those things…”

Everything will be taken care of…

The problem isn’t having enough money; it’s our ownership thinking …instead of stewardship thinking.

As owners it’s all up to us; as stewards we have a Provider

When we say to God, “I’ll fund Your kingdom and trust You to take care of mine,”

God says:  I know you need those things and…

I’ll give you what you need, when you need it, all you need.

When we seek Him first, we are inviting Him

into our financial picture.

Worry is dealt with when we acknowledge God as the owner

Big question:  How much? – 2 Corinthians 9:7… as much as you have decided

What do You want me to do with these 10 dollars You have given me?”

God says: “I want you to give Me one.”

Write your 2nd check to Self Proverbs  21:20

4th Commit to get rid of Debt! Romans 13:8

Stewardship isn’t about giving more; it’s all His.  Stewardship is asking, “What do You want me to do with Your money?”

5th SPEND

We must adjust our lifestyle to do both!  Give and get rid of debt!

Should I get rid of debt first?  NO!  You’ve spent God’s money too long already
