The Kingdom of God is Here!
Jesus took everyday ordinary things and revealed kingdom truth. The Kingdom of God is like…
The Kingdom of God is like…. the Super Bowl.
1. Individuals don't go to the Super Bowl - Teams do
Jesus liked weddings.
These stories all have a few common threads but one is the fact that a wedding takes a lot of people. Not to mention… the Bride and the Groom.
There was a community of people, all pulling in the same direction to help this couple make their promise to one another and to God.
Just like it takes a team to win a Super Bowl - it takes a team to make the vow!
2. Coaches lead the teams to the Super Bowl.
Many of the parables that Jesus used to describe the Kingdom speak of a leader.
The Prodigal Son or as some call this story the Loving Father.
It is found in
· Wants his son to learn
· Who allows his son to experience the lesson fully
· Who knows what is happening,
· Who is waiting to receive him home,
· Deals with the older brother.
This is Jesus' church and He is the head of the church!
His Kingdom comes where we let Him reign.
3. To make it to the Super Bowl it takes serious commitment.
Carefully

The kingdom of God is not to be a casual sideline interest - it is to affect every area of our lives!
4. The Super Bowl will stir up the nation.
Kingdom business makes a difference for eternity!
5. The most critical thing about the Super Bowl - though some say it doesn't matter, is the final score.
You have heard it said - It's not whether you win or lose but…
There is a huge difference between being a Super Bowl champion and also played.
In the Kingdom there will be winners and losers too.
Jesus calls this Heaven and Hell. There are no also played, one day there will be those who win and those who lose.
It will be the choice of every one which team they will be on.
The winners will be the ones who allowed the King to Reign.
