What are you thinking?

John 5:6

 “Do you want to get better?”

 “I am not sure I want to keep at this – it’s hard

and a lot of responsibility to live different.”

 “We’re drowning here, aren’t you going to do something.” 

As Christians, Jesus is always on board when our boats set out to sea.

If Jesus is in our boat, we will never sink.

Who is this Jesus?

1.  Mark 5:1-20  Healing of the crazy guy living by the pigs. 

And I ask – what are they thinking?

They were comfortable with the crazy guy – Jesus made them nervous.

Jesus crossed the Lake for the crazy naked guy!

2.     Mark 5:21 Jesus stopped and asked: Who touched me?” 

She knew.  She was embarrassed – her bleeding had made her as unclean as a leper. 

3.     John 5:1-15  A crippled man who believed that there was healing power in the waters of the pool met Jesus. 

How long have you been here?  38 years!   Do you want to get well? Vs 6 

Jesus what are you thinking?

He had tried to be in the right place at the right time but his chance came and went.  Now he was used to being sick. 

Do you want to get well?

What seems           hopeless?

                   Those who has been suffering for years?

                   Jesus asks… What are you thinking? Do you

want to get well?

Who is this man that even the winds and waves obey Him? 

What is it in your spiritual journey that holds you captive?

Jesus asks: Jesus what are you thinking?  Do you want to be healed?
