Sometimes marriage …

People don’t go to a wedding with the idea that it _________ ________ ______.

Three of every four marriages _________ end in divorce.  That sure lifts some of the __________ _____ ________ doesn’t it?

God has given us everything we need for life and Godliness 

2 Peter 1-4

³His divine power has given us everything we need for life and godliness through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness. ⁴Through these he has given us his very great and precious promises, so that through them you may participate in the divine nature and escape the corruption in the world caused by evil desires.

Colossians 3 gives us a good snapshot of what a __________________ ______________family looks like.  

A family that is:

Not held in bondage to _____________________ behaviors, growing in its ability to _________ one another, able to _________ one another, _____________ one another, a family where there is __________!

Paul even goes as far to say…

… A family that is ____________ on earth.

Difficult issues and circumstances may rob the joy, steal the blessing that the Bible refers to when it says… Psalm 127:3-5

What binds a family together in the good times and the bad?

Colossians 3:14-15

¹⁴Do all these things; but most important, love each other. Love is what holds you all together in perfect unity (or harmony).  ¹⁵Let the peace that Christ gives control your thinking, because you were all called together in one body to have peace. NCV

I have heard many times – “I ________ ________ ________ him or her anymore…”

________ fades and reignites.  

The word he uses is not ________________ love (Eros) or ____________________ Love (Philo) but rather the deepest kind of Love (Agape.)

God calls us to love in a way that is connected to __________________________…  Titus 2:4
